Introduction[]

You are now URSAHD PLIOCI and to be quite frank, you are the biased one. You are a self absorbed troll who relishes HIDING AWAY in your HIVE. You think it is much better than the DIRTY STREETS outside. You may be lower blooded, but you KNOW you aren't DIRT. Anywhow, like all trolls, you have SEVERAL INTERESTS which is reflected in your DECORATIONS. First of all, you are a PRECEDIAN JAZZ AFICIONADO and enjoy the cool sounds as if it were the last day on PRECEDUS. This is something you share with a certain neighbor from down your HIVESTEM. One day you swear you will find some instruments in the LOCAL DUMP and jam with him. One day...you can almost taste it.
For now, you improvise with a TRIAL VERSION OF TROLL FRUITYLOOPS. One day you might ask a certain person to get you a copy of the full version, but for now, you lack the guts. In fact...you HARDLY have any guts to deal with SOCIAL CONFRONTATION other than your neighbor and the trolls at the LOCAL THRIFT STORE. You don't know who is thinking what. What they know, how much they know, and when they learned it. It is nearly CRIPPLING and you spend many hours in the PAST trying to learn from it and MOVE ON. Unfortunately, you end up repeating yourself like a broken record; something you hate literally and figuratively. At least you have your CARDS to keep you busy half the time. If it weren't for ORIION, nothing would occupy your CHURNING BRAIN.
You are also an AVID THRIFTER and spend many an hour in the local thrift store finding hand-me-downs in your own PERSONAL VINTAGE STYLE. Considering your status, you have become quite STINGY in your spending and often hoard WHATEVER ASSETS you scrounge up. It has worked wonders though and you are GRATEFUL for it. Besides, you find the coolest things for next to NOTHING. As a result, you look like a BLAST FROM THE PAST at all times; a WIN-WIN in your book. Darn those newfangled Precedians and their HOITY-TOITY MODERN AGE FASHIONS. Especially seadwellers and their tacky BLING. Bleck!

Personality[]
Ursahd is a bit of a snob so he tends to look at everything with biased eyes. He is also highly resistant to change and spends the majority of the time in the past, a trait which has led to his semi-reclusive personality. When he does show face, he is usually crass and sometimes downright cold, a perfect mix for the dangerous streets of Fanrong.
Biography[]
Ursahd was hatched into poverty like all rust bloods on Precedus. Throughout his life, he perfected the art of thrifting leading to a near exclusive hive of vintage items. His taste for old things doesn't end there. He is also quite the music snob and if it isn't Precedian jazz, he wants nothing to do with it; a trait he has passed on to Oriion Scutum, his closely befriended neighbor from down the stem.
Session[]
Ursahd tagged along with Oriion during the latter's session and often helped his neighbor throughout the game. When the Black King was defeated and H.I.M. and H.I.F. absconded to the new universes, Ursahd and the other trolls took residence in the Veil. It was here that he meets DONN EZEKEL and through H.I.F.'s shenanigans, connects to that session of SBURB. Cyrrus then does the same and the Earth and Terra sessions merge with the trolls as the anchor. From there, Ursahd connects to Wren McClaw and Cyrrus to Dill McClaw.
Relationships[]
Oriion: Ursahd's neighbor and possible future bandmate, Oriion is one of few folks Ursahd actually trusts with no problem. The two have bonded over jazz music and a similar taste in card games.
Narsci: Ursahd's worst enemy, Narsci often simply threatens to shoot Ursahd. The latter often threatens to set his lusus off on Narsci. It is a constant cycle of hunter and prey with these two. The relationship is beyond calignous to the point of near danger without stronger trolls intervening and separating the two.
Canino: Once a calignous interest, Canino simply disregards Ursahd and often ignores him in favor of his moirail Narsci.
The Vanguard: One of the Warchief's top officers, the Vanguard was a leader of a group of trolls working in SECRET to further H.I.M.'s agenda. However, he was caught in a covert operation by PRECEDIAN AGENTS and was beheaded in front of His Imperial Fabulousness.
The Sentinel: Nothing much is known except that he served as the eyes and ears of the Vigilant.
Arctos: Ursahd finds him admirable though others see him as nothing but a greedy hustler. It is from him that Ursahd learns many new tricks, some of which, make it to Oriion.
Bozo: Ursahd's lusus. Bozo is quite the lazy one and often holes himself up in the den of Ursahd's hive where he rests undisturbed. Ursahd usually brings him scraps of food from the dumpsters otherwise leaving him be. When awoken, Bozo is quite irritable.
Later on in SBURB, Bozo is prototyped into the sprite along with one of COOL SNARES ALBUM.
Etymology[]
- Ursahd comes from the Ursa in Ursa Minor, his sign.
- Arctos comes from the latin name for the Grizzly Bear, Ursus Arctos.
- Plioci comes from Pliocene epoch, the period in time where mammals such as bears did quite well.
- Considering how Ursahd is holed up in the past and is an Heir of Time, this coincidentally fits.
- Arcas in his tag comes from the child of Zeus and Callisto in Greek Mythology. According to Wikipedia, Callisto was turned into a bear by Hera out of jealousy. After a bunch of shenanigans, Arcas became the king of Arcadia and was known as the best hunter in the country. One day while he was out in the woods hunting, he came across his mother as a bear and went to kill her with an arrow only to have Zeus put them up in the heavens hence Ursa Major and Ursa Minor.
- Alpha in his tag refers to the title given to the brightest stars in constellations. In Ursa Minor, Polaris, the North Star, or Alpha Ursae Minoris is the brightest.
- As an Heir, he is guided forward through Time just as one would be guided north by Polaris. In the end, he ends up getting over everything.
- Bozo is a bit personal of a name for me. Around where I live, we had a massive black bear by the same name that became a town legend. If you search "the biggest black bear" you'll most likely find things about him. This is one of the deepest personal things you'll probably find.
Trivia[]
- He was meant to be a compliment to Oriion's personality.
- Many things are inverted with the dancestors. One instance is Betele and Arctos' strife specibi being a flip-flop of their inverted counterparts.
- Arctos literally lives up to his title of Prince of Time by destroying Ursahd's habit of being lost in the past.
- Ursahd's title is literal. Everyone, fiction or real, is surrounded by Time, even if it stops, it is still there. Narsci, Ursahd's enemy, falls true with the opposite aspect: Space.
